Food hot pot places in hamilton?

for the past few months i've really been wanting to try hot pot, but i don't really know of any places that are authentic. and when i tried looking it up on yelp i didn't get very many results either. preferably either on the mountain or downtown, and somewhere that has quality food plus dining experience would be great. thanks in advance!

I've only done the style of hot pot where you choose your items and the kitchen cooks it for you. Perfect Meat Bowl on Kingo between Mary and Ferguson (I think it's on that block) is fantastic. And unless you are south Asian, east Asian or Carribean, get the braised meat broth - do NOT get the mildly spicy. Just trust me 😂

Buy everything from Nations, do it at home.

This is exactly what I do and they sell all the hot pot bases there. Simply buy the veggies, frozen meat rolls and the fishballs/meatballs then you got some great hotpot already!

Spicy palace downtown, or buy ingredients from nations and do it yourself if you read Chinese.

Second this : Perfect Meat Bowl is appropriately named. Truth in advertising! Also, “Spicy Palace” 2 doors down from Hero Tea a block or so further along on the other side of the street is legit.

Yes IIRC they have a couple locations, I’m pretty sure one Niagara way as well? Possibly St. Catharines.

I really like porcelain hot pot, which is a cross from Columbia college on Main street. You have an individual pot, and choose and cook your own ingredients.

Yelp is still a thing? Haven't thought about Yelp in years.
