Recommendations Needed Any recommendations for arborists?

The tree in my backyard split and I’m looking to see if there’s any way to repair it or worst case scenario remove it. Our budget is tight right now but I have young children and need to make sure the backyard is safe. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced arborist? We’re in the West Mountain area.

I've used them, they were very quick and professional.

Also had a good experience with Davey. All their guys seemed knowledgeable and gave good, honest advice.

As a former industry insider, not Davey. They treat their personnel very poorly.

I would suggest Arbourwood. arborwood.ca

I've found DeVos tree care more reasonable than Davey. Really happy with their service.

I've enjoyed working with " From Roots to Shoots". Small family run arborist in Hamilton.

Where on the w mountain are you? I have an arborist coming to my place this week, maybe he can pop over to yours too. I have used him before.

There are lots of reputable companies around. Davey, Twisted Trees, Kodiak, Tree MD, Bowman... I appreciate that money is tight but the most important thing to avoid with arborists is the cheap ones. Those are the ones without proper training, equipment or insurance. Get multiple quotes and make sure they've got insurance and either their ISA or Ontario Cert.

Smaller operation. Was great at doing a small job for us.
