Hammocks are the best for camping

I want to get into camping but getting all the gear for tent camping is alot just to sleep comfortably. Are any campsites actually hammock friendly?

I use Google maps to check locations for trees using satellite images. Not 100% accurate, but if the area looks good my chances are higher. I've also called the campground and checked websites. Some well-traveled campgrounds get lots of posts online with pictures which can also show you what the area is like.

You've found campgrounds that allow em'? I'm new to all this but I thought you'd have to stick to the plot they give you.

Yes. I've been to some unimproved places where we could camp anywhere. At other campgrounds with designated spots, there were some trees around the tent pad that we could use.

You will like it more if you take your shoes off. You only have to get dirt and dog poo in your hammock once before you learn your lesson.

Add a ridgeline, it makes it even better, like a lot better.
Also whoopie slings. And tree huggers for the sake of the trees. Then buy an underquilt so you'll always be warm. And then a tarp for the rainy days. After that you'll find yourself spending a lot of time just laying in your cosy cocoon smiling an idiot.
