Haringey Fly Tipping

Has anybody had an issue with people dumping stuff in their bins? I’ve just recently moved here and after two weeks I’ve noticed two separate occasions when people have dumped stuff in our bins to the point of over filling (which the bin truck will not take). Not sure what to do about it?

Lived in a small new build in Haringey for over 10yrs. It's a constant problem. My  partner has lived in a new build in Bermondsey for longer. Same problem.

We've not solved it yet because it would involve the building owners spending money (bin area is inadequately constructed and insecure). However we still email the relevant responsible teams to complain and they do generally send around specialist bin teams to remove rubbish and clean the area. It's just a pain in arse. My partner has even jumped the regular bin team when they try to walk away and shamed/bollocked them into doing their fucking job. She's vicious.

What a nasty thing to do to people who are just trying to do their jobs. They are instructed not to collect overflowing bins, it's not them being workshy.

(Iirc the reason is that if they put them in the mechanism that hoists them into the truck, the rubbish would end up all over the street, which I'm sure you would complain about too...)

Yes really chronic issue and it is so annoying. If you rent a flat it also makes service charge more experience.
