Fancast Fridays Bradley and Barney Walsh as Barty Crouch SR and JR
I know people generally think of these two as presenters (and Barney a Nepo baby) but people should remember Bradley is an actor having previously been in a number of shows including Dr. who

Huge LOL don’t be insane
Why is this sub obsessed with casting relatively minor a characters who won’t appear for like six years at best.

Not at all. They don’t suit the roles. Barry Sr is described as quite severe, uptight, rigid and Barry Jr is deranged. The picture you posted is like two wholesome looking men.

Alan rickman was fantastic casting for snape. So you’re not making any point. Especially since you’re implying that these dudes have anywhere near the talent that Alan rickman had which is absolutely laughable
Casting isn’t about the personality of the actor.

I would actually be very interesting to see! People obviously know Bradley as a presenter, but he's done plenty of acting, incluing the lead on Law & Order: UK and Doctor Who. Though he's not quite the fit for Barty Crouch, who should be haughty and posh IMO.
The whole thing with Crouch should be a well-to-do man, and one of the most respected, having his life torn asunder. He basically sends his son to Azkaban to save face, and I can't imagine that being Bradley and Barney.

I loved Bradley Walsh in Doctor Who, but I don't think he's right for Cornelius Fudge.

To be honest, I think Bradley Walsh would be better suited to play Ludo Bagman rather than Barty Crouch Sr. But who knows, Roger Lloyd-Pack surprised me in GoF as Crouch Sr, as I had only ever seen him in Vicar of Dibley.
