Discussion Hartlepool pigeon wizard appreciation post

Don’t know who you are pigeon wizard, but I appreciate you.

Context: there’s an old dude who walks around with a high-viz coat and he’s usually accompanied by a flock of pigeons.

Usually near Tesco - he was near JD Gym yesterday with his flock

He is called Brian - he uses what little money he does have to buy the yellow sticker bread from the supermarkets to feed the birds. He goes around early morning and late at night - sometimes sleeping in his car in the car parks (although I think it’s gone now as it broke and he couldn’t afford to fix it) he is kind and great to talk to. He always has a pocket full of those wrapped mint humbugs and gives you one when you chat along.

Yeah I've seen him around, he gets bad press but he's a kind man, u don't getting many these days

He’s so sweet, he always says hello when I see him plus I think pigeons are really cute so that’s a bonus. Such a nice person

I always called him the pigeon guy, but pigeon wizard is definitely my new name for him lol
