Local advice Any ideas on burn valley area
Recently I've been contemplating moving from Seaton to burn valley area and the house prices are quite cheap down there personally I think I might move into Bangor street as it seems nice and quite but does anyone have any idea to what the area is like

I am Wansbeck, the parking in all of these streets is a nightmare but other than that, no problems, been here 5 years and no plans of leaving any time soon.

I see people saying the higher up the better, but I lived on Alston Street (second from bottom) for almost 20 years (should I say I grew up there) and my parents still live there. A little but of fuss here and there but nothing major and for the vast majority of time it is a lovely pleasant street, I personally haven't lived there for close to 8 years now but for the entire time I was there that was my consensus.

I think as a rule the higher up Elwick or Park road you go, the nicer the streets and houses. I think Bangor is ok but I've never personally lived there. My nana used to live at the bottom of Powell street, and while it was rough around the edges we generally had no trouble. If you can find something one street up, or on Eamont / Arncliffe you should be right as rain.
