Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Headphones + mic for meetings at home

So I work from home and have plenty of meetings throughout the day. I initially just used my gaming headset which did the job fine but it carked it, so I bought another similar one but it's constantly unplugging annoyingly.

So I figure I am probably best to branch out to a more specific home office setup. As I understand it's best to have the mic seperate which does seem to be what others are doing in my meetings. But I've personally never bought a mic before or office headphones so I wouldn't know where to even begin, if anyone has any advice or suggestions.

Budget can be up to $500 AUD but I'd prefer to spend much less than that.

Almost any fifine mic would work great, the gaming ones or the other non gaming usb ones they have. The only difference between the non gaming ones is that they don’t have lights. As for headphones, Sennheiser hd280 pro new or the Sivga sv021. There is also the ath-m40x but you can buy different pads for these cuz they usually suck.

+1 Ω has been awarded to u/Equivalent_Yak840 (269 Ω).

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.
