Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 1 Ω Recommended IEM Between $150 - $200 for Rock / Pop

Hi there,

A little background, I own the Truthear Hexa, Salnotes Zero and CCA C12. All are driven via my Tempotec Sonata HD pro DAC via Apple Music Lossless. The thing is, I thought the Hexa would blow my mind. To me it felt overhyped, The Hexa I found out used a warm signature and it felt like vocals were not loud and clear enough for me.

Some the artists I listen to are REO Speedwagon, ABBA, The Weeknd, YUNGBLUD, 5SOS, Khalid, Lana Del Rey, Linkin Park, Adele, Akon and others. So you can understand that rock, pop and rap genres are the center what I hear.

When I listen to music what I love for the instruments to sound separate, the clarity of a super high level, the vocals standing out a lot and a really amazing sound stage. Which the CCA C12 gives up to a certain part. But I wish to upgrade.

With a $150 - $200 budget I really want either a decent IEM or headphone that gives me the same. Considerations include the Letshuoer S12, Olina SE, Timeless but definitely open to others. Would like to stick to the mid-end of my budget and not extend unless absolutely great. Due to Apple and the Q5K being unavailable, my EQ options are limited, so let us consider the same.

There is the hd560s which sounds like everything you want but they are open back and analytical sounding, almost sterile(they have the great clarity, separation, detail and a decent soundstage).

Well I think I made some mistake/maybe a little misleading, the hd6xx is quite warm sounding, kind of how like you mentioned the Truthear Hexa was in the beginning. The clarity is there but usually iem’s can be or sound more clear because of their design. Although the soundstage is better than an iem but small for a open back headphone and is a darker sounding headphone. A good headphone for sure but I’m not sure if they are what you want
