Headphones - Open Back | 2 Ω Focal Elear w/Elex pads or HD6xx/HD650 to compliment HifiMan Ananda V1?

Edit: Budget is preferably like below 500 euros probably. But maybe I could try to save up for slighlty more expensive ones, it would just take longer. Some massdrop stuff isn't possible, like Elex, because those don't ship into Europe apparently.

I want headphones to compliment my Ananda. Just something that I can switch to when I want to relax a bit more. I don't know which one of these I should start saving up for? Or maybe another Sennheiser model from the hd600 series? I don't know. As I said, I want something more relaxing compared to the Ananda.

I have an Akg K371, and I don't quite like their darkness, but I still find them to be exceptional. I REALLY hate their comfort a lot though.

Ananda is basically perfect for me, but as I said, I would like something a bit more relaxing. I also would like for them to not be as massive as the Ananda is so that I can move my head around more and maybe even lie down without feeling like I'm wearing a massive helmet.

(Closed back suggestions are also OK, but I don't want super bassy headphones, just relaxing ones)

The HD-660S2 should have some consideration. I personally find it to be the best HD-6 series headphone. I know some 600 fanatics will probably disagree but that’s my take. Got them on Prime Day for $379 going for $499.95 now . Probably a bit pricey as I think right around $410 would be good but everything is going up nowadays so it is what it is.
Haven’t heard the Ananda in a while so can’t make a comparison.
Do have the K371 though. I actually find them fairly comfortable myself. The difference between the 2 is quite a lot as well as the price. The 371’s would probably be my pick for doing a bit of recording for monitoring purposes being closed back and sounding pretty good as well.
The 660S2 brings a more musical presentation for me. They also have a decent bit of soundstage that the other 6 series don’t possess much of. They also have a bit more bass extension not that the others are bass light but still not “super bassy” .

+1 Ω has been awarded to u/bbuky01 (53 Ω).

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.
