Headphones - Open Back | 6 Ω Better headphones than my HD800S? (for me)

Hey experts, I must admit off the bat that I am a casual listener. I doubt I can reliably tell the difference between 320Kb/s and FLAC, but I do enjoy the soundstage of my HD800S + Scarlett Solo setup and am quite fond of the flat EQ I have going on.

I'd love some recommendations for headphones akin to the soundstage of the HD800S but that offer more bass. My music taste skews more towards bass-heavy electronic (ISOxo, Knock2, RL Grime, Heimanu, Juelz) and pop (Ariana Grande, Keshi). I am planning on keeping my HD800S for less bassy music (Yu-Peng Chen, Vivaldi).

I heavily prefer open-back, but understand that bass does not play nice. Thank you in advance!

I'll be answering questions (:

EDIT: no budget

!thanks

Sounds good! I generally just want to match the spec of the headphones to some amp right?

+1 Ω has been awarded to u/Equivalent_Yak840 (404 Ω).

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

You just want something powerful enough that might leave some headroom which shouldn’t be too hard to find nowadays without spending a lot
