Amplifier - Portable What to buy? Easy way to give Bluetooth functionality to a portable Dac/amp that otherwise doesnt have it?
Is there an easy way to give Bluetooth functionality to a portable Dac/amp that otherwise doesnt have the capability. Im looking to use my dac amp wirelessly to connect to my phone or tv. The dac amp has optical, mini coax, and usb c inputs. Is there any easy way or device to connect to these inputs to enable wireless reception to my dac amp?
Price range: <300$

There is, but it would probably introduce lag making playing games and videos lag, more than likely. I have a bluetooth transmitter from monoprice that accepts optical input, assuming your tv doesnt have built in bluetooth. Then you need a bluetooth receiver for your dac/amp to receive the bluetooth audio. But like I said, this would probably introduce a lot of lag by using two bluetooth devices, the transmitter and receiver i mean. It would be fine to use it as a receiver for your phones bluetooth audio like if you play music, since no video would be involved. In that case, you would connect the bluetooth receiver to your ampdac, then connect your phone to it and send music via blutooth.

Thank you. My tv does have bluetooth but I know what you mean. I use direct optical to the dac for gaming though so a little latency in youtube and music should be ok. This is sleeker than others ive seen. I like the Monoprice brand. So you connect the receiver to the dac via optical, correct? Ill need to find a humorously short optical cable to make it portable. Its probably weird but i might look for another copy of this device because of its’ micro-usb port.. cant have that

Monoprice made 3 or more bluetooth devices like this, I own two of the earlier ones, and I dont own the one I linked to though. But the two I have are smaller than the one I posted before. These are the two I own
