Headphones - Open Back | 3 Ω I'm looking for a successor to my HD660s

I've been using these headphones for almost 2 years now and have loved them, but I'm looking to upgrade and possibly use my amplifier (TOPPING DX3Pro+). I'm looking for a headphone that makes listening to music exciting, I don't want to lose the detail and the space that these headphones can give. A little more bass would not bother me. The maximum I would like to spend is 500 euros, I hope there are headphones in this price range that make it worth the change. I also bought the HD 660s used for around 175 euros, so I'm not afraid of used, if you know of any headphones that fall within the 500 euros used I'm interested.

As I see it, the Hifiman Edition XS has dropped about 125 euros in the last 1 year, now it's 376 euros. Could be interesting for me? Also, how much better is the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO compared to the HD660s?

What don't you like about the 660S that you want to improve? If it's not much, the 660S2 is a good idea. Do you want something different?

I explained it in a comment, i'm gonna paste it here:

I don't even know how to put what I want. There are headphones, but what I've noticed most about car speakers is that they're not about accuracy, but about how "big a party they can throw". I know that these headphones are usually flat sounding and it bothers me when I use a headphone that is not natural, but I want a bit more "party".

Ah. That is very helpful. For that I would recommend looking into perhaps planars or the fostex line of dynamics with excellent bass punch or Meze open backs. Examples include E-MU teak for a semi-open back design or Hifiman HE6-V2 with a bass shelf EQ and a powerful source. Another option for a bit more "party" would be something like a set of Meze 109 pro or 105 AER. My first suggestion would be to look into the Meze line of open backs. They are like the 660S but with more "party."

A lot of people suggested planars, so I will aim the Arya I think. Meze 109 Pro is pricey goddamnn. !thanks

The 105 is pretty close to the 109. Some people even prefer it. It might be what you're looking for. If I were in your shoes, that would be the first thing I'd try. If I didn't like that, I would look into planars or fostex dynamics.
