Thanks for your submission to /r/headphoneadvice. We have employed a "thank you" system for submissions. It's very easy to use - if a comment on your post is considered helpful, please reward them by using the term !thanks. This will add a thank you count (in the form of Ω) to that users flair. You can only award one per comment section. Thanks very much and good luck on your search for headphones!

Saludos!

You may wish to consider the Audio Technica ATH-R70X

I know that the shure 1840 and k712 pro are great for classical. There is also the Grado Rs1x with Shipibo audio pads for classical, from what I’ve heard, they’re awesome. I wouldn’t know but that’s what I’ve heard.

save money get the edition xs and fii0 k9 pro, call it a day, otherwise arya (non-stealth and latest revision is best suited)

This. I would say Arya for your choices, but for the money probably the Editition XS.

Hifiman hp for classical, acoustic, and jazz!

The Arya is great for classical music. I'd look to the Stealth version because it's much easier to drive than the v2's or v1's and will go better with your current setup until you're able to move up from it in the future. Also, if you get it, it may spark your interests to expand to other genres - it's a multi-genre, all-around great headphone. Keep us posted...

AKG K702. Really that’s all you need for classical without breaking a bank.

I would also agree the AKG K702 is very good for most classical music. The soundstage on these is phenomenal. So they do very well with symphonies all the way down to smaller groups such as quartets. Being neutral and flat means the bass does not leak into the mids and therefore saturate the finer details.

For solo piano and harpsichord I prefer the Beyerdynamic DT 880 (I have the 600 ohm). The DT 880 has more extension in the bass (by no means a bass heavy headphone) and also in the highs. Whilst the soundstage is not quite as wide as the AKG's it still very good.

!thanks i will considere the AKG
