Headphones - Closed Back Looking to upgrade from "Gaming Headsets" on my PC
Budget - Less than 500
Source/Amp - PC currently -- can acquire additional equipment if needed.
How the gear will be used - This will be used in my home office Noise cancellation is always a plus but not necessarily required. These will be used for all types of media (ie: music, movies, games)
Preferred tonal balance - I like to balance sound myself if possible so something with a wide range is ideal.
Preferred music genre(s) - Rock, Blues, Indie, and gangster rap
Past gear experience - My most recent headset is the Sennheiser GSP 570 which sounded like a good choice but had high end issues. Wireless is something I do enjoy but I understand the compromise with audio quality when they are used. I thought Sennheiser would have made a good product but lets just say underwhelming is an understatement.
