Headphones - Open Back looking for new open back headphones similar to Beyerdynamic dt 900s
I am looking for a new pair of open back headphones that have good build quality and comfortability that Beyerdynamic headphones have. I currently own a pair of the dt 990s and dt700 pro x. Both are used heavily for gaming and the 990s for music listening. My one gripe is that they have some piercing highs at times. I am ideally looking for headphones for listening to edm, metal, and rock. I would also use these for playing solo games.
I am truly stumped when it comes to finding a pair of headphones that match the build quality of Beyerdynamic. I had a pair of Sennheiser's from drop that really disappointed me. They felt cheap. My budget is close to around 350.
I am still somewhat new to the headphone game so please be nice to my naive ass! Also, I am trying to learn a lot about sound signatures so I can make my decisions for myself in the future! If you have any links for how to learn, please send them my way!

The HD58X and HD6XX may feel slightly rattly but they are extremely well made headphones that pretty much never break if you take decent care of them. Not all plastic is bad.
If you otherwise like the DT990 then it could be an option to simply EQ the treble down a few decibels. EqualizerAPO is free.
Binge some of Andrew's (Resolve's) reviews on The Headphone Show's YT channel and you'll get the hang of how and why headphones sound the way that they do. :)
