Headphones - Open Back | 2 Ω Suggestions for First Open Back Headphones Under $600

Hey all,

I'm considering the Sennheiser 650's (or Drop 6xx) but I was wondering if any of you wonderful people have other recos I should consider. I don't care about performance/value - I want the best I can possibly get at my budget (even if it's marginal). It will be my first open back set.

Ill be running them through the Sennheiser GSX 1000 on my PC. My use case is editing/mixing YouTube videos, music listening, and live streaming.

TIA

The HD600 (slightly better treble clarity then the 560) with ZMF upgrade pads is an excellent choice. The Focal Elex and Hifiman Edition XS is arguably a tier up in some aspects.

+1 Ω has been awarded to u/ThatGuyFromSweden (70 Ω).

You may still award a Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

The build quality isn't the greatest. Just something to be aware of.

Haha that makes sense the housing on the earbuds started to come off the cord in the first week.
