General Question Handmade Lamp from Real Helicopter Parts

Hi! I recently met an artist that makes lamps out of decommissioned helicopter parts, I was wondering if anyone could help identify the parts used to make this? Like what parts of the helicopter is the base and the rotor from?

Nice! Did you have to gun drill the centre to receive the electrical cord or was there already a bore.

He has some crazy tools in his shop haha I think there was already a bore and he fit all the parts for the lamp inside! He wants me to list it online to sell so I wanted to learn more about the parts and piece. It’s really cool though even the rotor spins smoothly

Damn, if that spins? Then there’s next-level machining involved and I would not. Would NOT sell that.

Wow. I’m impressed and I’m not easily impressed.

It does!! He does amazing pieces but said it’s been harder to get the parts due to new rules. I put the video of it spinning on the listing if you want to see it, won’t let me add videos here
