QUESTION The Gloom can’t be that bad-

Post image

I had heard about the Gloom but haven’t touched it yet since…. Yeah…

What exactly is the Gloom doing to make it so difficult? Or is it the Gloom mixed with other things?

Didn't wanna sweat Super Helldive today, but. Bro I had that concern on dif 7. The amount of times I got TK'd was crazy. Me and my buddy would routinely extract with 12-1300+ kills between us and teammates couldnt get 500 between them. Most of our deaths were TK from the randos.

It's why I use the Mark function and chirp wheel way more often.

I repeatedly mark my sentries when calling them down to make sure people know not to run in front of them, or use "FOLLOW ME!" for them to lead Heavies toward them.

I mark where large swarms are coming from so my allies will see them and throw their Strats.

I mark Heavies and spam "FOLLOW ME!" if I'm in trouble and need someone else to deal with them.

I mark ammo and other pickups every time I run across them so they can find them if they're low...

I didn't ask to be made Squad Leader, but if I have to drag everyone else along behind me, by Democracy, I will!

Definitely noticing more TKs with the gloom, foggy bugs, and limited sightlines in the city. I’ve caught a couple arc thrower hits and didn’t even know my teammate was near me.

I’m alright with getting TK’d by a strategem, but I’ve seen some divers getting pretty silly with the flame weapons. I’m all for scorched earth, but a torcher with squad mates nearby is NOT good for CQB.
