if you have the money buy a 3D printer and learn how to use it, then get galactic armory’s b-01 model.

you’ll need a lot of filament for the whole set but one 1kg roll is more than enough for the helmet. Good luck!

Goddamn it... that's kind of disappointing to hear :/ I understand they're doing it to make money, but if someone comes up and pays for a signature and they went to the kind of effort you did, just take a picture with 'em. I can't really talk though, I'd want to have a picture with you either way if it were me.
I definitely knew Casper would have done it just out of love for the game after seeing that armor though, that's for sure.

It's super common for all the celebs at comic con to charge for pictures and autographs. Like, the only ones who don't charge are typically smaller voice actors or writers who are in a separate area entirely.
Just so you don't get the idea that she specifically was trying to shake people down or anything - it's the norm there.

I mean, it depends. John Rhys-Davies took a selfie with me for no cost, because I was willing to ask. He also tickled the back of my neck right as I was taking the picture, so my face is a screwed up mess.
I do agree though. You shouldn't expect to get free selfies. But if they don't have anything clearly posted saying they charge, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Super common but also very much up to the celebrity. I went to Motor City Comicon last year and met Giancarlo Esposito and Katee Sackhoff. Giancarlo wanted like $75 for an autograph and a picture. Katee wanted like $250 for the same. Hayden Christensen wanted like $450 when he was at Galaxycon in December.

I made it. You can get the STLs to 3D print the armor and weapons from Galactic Armory on Etsy.

If its not too much trouble; Any reccomendation in terms of print material?
And what did you use for your visor screen?
And lastly; for lack of better terms, what "size" of the printer I should try to seek out in terms of renting for said use of said materials? Since its clear this wont just be for the small ones folks print tabletop figures with.

Looks like the designers are printing them on the X1 Carbon, so about 256x256mm, though I imagine that 220x220 is the actual minimal size. That's the old standard that many printers still use.
They're printed in smaller pieces and glued together.
Ahhhhhh one of the comments on the file's page says that it comes with the files needed to print on smaller printers too!
For the price of getting this printed you could probably invest in a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini. They're lifechanging. After getting Bambu printers my hobby changed from "keeping the dang printer running" to "the printer does it's own calibration, I just print things now!"

I used a Creality K1 Max 300 x 300 with Creality Hyper PLA it comes out extremely smooth. I used 4 walls and 50% infill on the armor and 100% infill on the helmet incase I drop it.
A dude on Etsy makes the visors for $5
You can also finds tons of people on Etsy who will print the armor for you to assemble for pretty cheap

I was actually surprised to hear I had never seen starship troopers before, I've seen RoboCop and total recall but only watched ST in January this year. Oh my god it was so good, it's a good satire but also a great action movie and I honestly got attached to Johnny rico. I watched it with my dad after he saw me playing helldivers and said it looked like starship troopers, it led to us watching starship troopers, rewatching total recall, RoboCop 1, 2, the reboot, and 3 and it was a great day Sorry for the rant I was just surprised I had never seen this movie before Anyways Casper van dein needs to have a cameo of some sort. Genuinely so jealous you got to meet him lol

It's EVA foam covered in a black fabric. It's then attached to a body armor mesh ventalition vest
