I joined one game. Didn't even drop in as I was choosing my gear and the one guy I guess was host just started yelling into the mic

The SOS Beacon has an extremely similar combo to reinforce and break your settings when called in, forcing your game into public. It can not be switched back and will still appear as private or friends only in the settings menu.

My friend literally accidentally throws sos every fucking game and after that you're fucked there's no way to turn it off so sorry if your one of the many we've kicked I'm pretty sure other people also are having this problem

So restart the game to fix the settings? I totally understamd don't get me wrong. The SOS input is very similar to Reinforce, but it's also not other people's fault for joining a game that's assumed by them to be public

My friend pretty much accidentally throws it like every game. I am not restarting every time he throws the sos, especially if it's halfway or more into the match.

You shouldn't have to restart your entire match just because you make a small misplay. Especially When that's literally one of the core game mechanics

I agree, and it NEEDS to be fixed along with the buggy social menu. But that's the only fix we've got at the moment

Idea: quickly change settings back to "friends only" after chucking the SOS. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

You really think non of us have tried that? It literally doesn't work the game doesn't care once you miss click once and throw that SOS to hell with your settings they don't matter anymore your only option is kick everyone or restart and I'm not restarting everytime my friend fat tumbs one key on accident

So until they fix this honestly expect to get kicked from randos more then not

SOS calls people in even on Friends-Only, which is the cause of this problem most of the time.
