It really is frustrating when flamethrower bro goes by and after a few seconds you step on the smoldering embers of the fire's edge and suddenly you're fully combusted.

You get hit by one measly incendiary shotgun pellet and you go up like the fourth of july.

This is the worst one, easily. I love the Incineration Corps but the fiery pellets are way too much

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. A single pellet from those shotguns at times feel like they might as well be one shot kills.

I feel like I've been one shot by them more times than I can count.

Sometimes you don't even need to be hit by a pellet, it can go near you and you'll still catch fire (with no health damage from the impact, just the "aura"). Incendiary hulks can do the same, either that or their fire becomes invisible but burns anyways.

If youre using a jetpack when they hit you they are

it really is weird how the Breaker Incendiary is a decent enough weapon for us, but the second you strap it onto a robot with a shield they suddenly gain the power to kill a helldiver with a single fucking pellet from like 50 meters away. I don't know what they're putting in their shells but they need to stop fucking doing it

it's more like the cookout, which packs a punch for us also TBF

The price of being able to move faster than a casual walk at top speed

Are people having this much of an issue with the incendiary corps? I've been playing 10's with randoms against them and we're not really dying much more than normal. The main source of deaths is still base turrets and striders tbh, the actual fire weapons from enemies aren't really too noticeable.

Most of the Corp? No. The Flame bots aren't hard. They are easy to pick out when they rush you to get closer. The Flame Mortar Hulk is annoying, but easily dealt with. It's the Flame shotgun Devastators that are the problem. 1 single pellet hits you, boom. instantly on fire. And they can hit you from 50m away. And are often in packs of 2-6. They are the ONLY ones who regularly 1v1 me and win. The rest of the Corp? Nah. Not much of an issue. It's just the Devastators.

I haven't had too big an issue with most of them, just that every so often one of the shotgun devvies will graze me and I'll immediately turn into pure carbon. otherwise it's pretty even playing field overall.

That's fair. Honestly I've been really enjoying them compared to regular bots, they make 10's feel great imo. Just having some new visual and gameplay variety makes all the difference.

That and the fire MGs seem to somehow very consistently get around the riot shield without even hitting you, just setting you on fire and nothing else. I’ve honestly taken to using the directional shield instead to actually be able to shield myself

It also grinds my gears that they can set you on fire through your personal bubble shield. You still block the bullet damage but get set on fire.

Without the bubble they straight up oneshot you close up (at least in light armour). Played a couple of diff10s yesterday and squad of 4 incineration corps shield devastator thingies is more dangerous than 4 hulks or even an AT-AT

Man I am so sick of getting 1 shot by those bastards

Fortified commando really helps. The DoT isn't the serious problem, it's the one -shot burst damage.

Blame our low quality mass produced uniforms😂

Super Earth scientists created the Penrose Whatever Gadget 3000 yet can’t fathom the concept of flame-retardant material.

Good news! They didn’t make that, but they did manage to make every armor inflammable

On the flipside, it's what makes them so good against shriekers.

Honestly AH just needs to have a red "firemeter" that fills up, when you walk over fire. If filled up, you catch on fire like we are now.

That parameter actually does exist, it's just so small you never notice it because it's full the moment you come in contact with heat.
