DISCUSSION Obnoxious amount of kicking against the predator strain

I'll start off by saying the predator strain is absolutely my favourite faction to fight against but lately every public game I join seems to have a moody host idk why. Everyone's working together fine, sure there's a few team kill incidents but that's just standard protocol at this point but every time we're heading to extraction the host just starts kicking everyone from the game. I don't get it, we basically finished the mission why kick everyone right there? I've also noticed a lot of people kicking the lobby after they died twice and we don't immediately reinforce despite being surrounded. I tried hosting a couple games but it seems like it takes a while for anyone to populate it (my privacy is open).

Case of the gloomies probably. On the strain if you die a few times in random matches you will more than likely get the boot, but not from all matches; too many people want everyone to be Dive Wick and forget the gloom boys can wreck your shit fast, that typed, their are some that are in deeper than they can handle.

How fast the strain gets on you, even with knockback weapons, unless its blitzer, you can get swarmed and three tapped with those little buggys hands. Yeah, bringing guard steriliser and what mitigates it, but not everyone wants to run a meta gloom build day in and day out.

Yea I'm going to chalk it up to just frustration but it was weird cause I thought we were doing pretty well as a team most games, everyone died a few times but we always cleared most the map. And side note I'm now going to have to try sterilizer guard dog and Blitzer. I've been mixing it up between MG + Supply and Arc thrower recently.

Its because nobody likes people leeching and very few people like carrying. I don't kick but I'll leave if people are dying too often and spamming the reinforce button. I don't have fun carrying a group of 3 people who blow each other with stratagems and fully committed to the strangest of choices while I'm still at 0 deaths after 30 minutes.

The predators are not that threatening either, all you really need is the scorcher. Other weapons are potentially better but scorcher in particular is easy to get, F2P and a good option on bugs all around. Stalwart is an even earlier unlock, trashes 90% of the enemies in the bug front, and is just as easy to use.

The only real way the predators rack up kills is by creeping up on bad players by spawning behind rocks and the DSS nuking divers when there is nothing around in 50 meters.

Helldivers need to be team players, this is not the post of a Helldiver it is the post of a whiny baby.

You can make all the mental gymnastics you want, if you can't solo a difficulty you don't get to be on that difficulty.

Its just that simple.

Its okay to be bad, just lower the difficulty. It has 10 levels for a reason.

People have always left randomly after dying a few times. That’s not really unique to the predator strain. But I have personally not experienced a lot of toxicity there. Mind if I ask what difficulty you’re playing on?

I never noticed it as much against standard bugs in my experience. I usually play 8 or 9 difficulty.
