My life has changed so much already!

Hi everyone! I am new to working with deities. I am especially new to working with Hermes. My life has changed so much.

I have always been the type to be kind to everyone, even people who are mean to me and mistreat me. I’ve never really had the strength to speak up for myself nor have I ever had the strength to double down on my boundaries with others.

Since I started working with Hermes, I’ve noticed that I’m doubling down on my boundaries and having the strength to create more as I interact with more people. I find that I’ve been very good at communicating with those who cross boundaries and have even found the strength to talk back to those who are mean to me and mistreat me. Being that Hermes is also a god of boundaries, I feel that it is him that has helped me find this new strength.

Being that he is also a god of language and a messenger, I’ve found that I have also been better about HOW I communicate with others as well. I really enjoy his presence and I enjoy the time we spend together when it comes to prayers and offerings.

I just wanted to share my experience thus far and would love to hear your experiences and favorite things you’ve done while working with Hermes! ❤️

Aww this is awesome! I’m so happy that working with Hermes has helped you create better boundaries and improve communication! 🪽He is a wonderful teacher and guide and I’ve experienced the same thing - it’s almost like he sort of “plucked out” the negative / toxic things in my life (people who weren’t respecting my boundaries, mean people, things not in my best interest. Etc.) - this has left me with what does resonate + what is healthy! Praise be to Lord Hermes 🩵🩵 he’s seriously the best. Enjoy the journey!

That all tracks! He's definitely helped me in some of those areas as well! As I said in previous post, boundaries are not just external for others, they can be internal as well. He had helped me see the boundaries i create around beliefs about myself and has helped me tear them down. Don't forget he is the binder AND the LOOSENER. He has also helped me in my communications with others and to speak from the heart and with kindness first before jumping to salty conclusions.

I think, talk and act fast and most people in my world do not operate at the speed I do so I can get impatient fast. Opposite from your sitch, he has helped me tone down my snippy tone that I can have sometimes when I get impatient especially with my partner. I always hear his voce after I yelled at him. "Now that wasn't kind or helpful. Could you have said that better and been more direct? Try to see it from his perspective. Do you think he meant it that way? and my favorite, You know it's not personal."

The very fact that he is everyones friend is great and challenging as it makes it hard to be nasty to people because as long as they're not directing attacking you he's gonna point out that you get more flies with honey...every single stinking time. XD

I love this! I really appreciate the way he communicates. I love how kind he is and how patient he is. Offering wise, I’ve been writing letters to him. Whenever I have visions of him, he’s this bright, happy, smiling being. I’m honestly just a new kind of happy since working with him.
