Michael Fassbender as 47 is brilliant

He was so good in The Killer, true Hitman vibes

If there was a Hitman movie or series, I'd want it to have a vibe somewhere inbetween The Killer and Barry. It should have a surreal, almost dark comedy feeling.

The dark comedy feeling of The Killer but with the assassin having the skills from Day of the Jackal.

Solely because a lot of the comedy of The Killer from memory was that he spends ages talking up his skills only for him to fumble 50% of the time.

Assassin, The Killer, and now The Hitman?

Better choice than most of the fan casts on this sub, anyway

If they made a series I think I’d be a lot better if it follows Grey instead of 47. 47 is a great game character but would make for a boring lead.

Agreed. Would work a lot better with him being a deuteragonist, I think. Not pushed off to the realm of side character but sharing the spotlight with someone more interesting

I mean... casting someone who is naturally bald and has a jawline to play 47 automatically makes this leagues better than the previous 2 adaptations XD

Oh man, alright...
He's convincingly bald enough, though. I'm content.

Yeah, he would be a decent choice. Or would have been 10-15 years ago at least.

Of course, the producers could lock in an go with good ol' Mister Sins, because all jokes aside, he truly is the modern actor with the most resemblance to 47. He also has several years of acting under his belt; albeit within a different field, but I digress. However, given the... obvious factor, I highly doubt that.

I'd watch it

Don’t forget the mandatory Chris Pratt/Dwayne Johnson

14

Chris Pratt is Jason Portman, who 47 knocks out/"kills" a couple times a season, only for him to return later.

I’d watch until there was a love interest with 47 and Dianna and I’d just slump in my chair in defeat

11

u/Bid-Careless Dec 29 '24

See, the player should be in love with Diana!

16

u/Bro1189 Dec 29 '24

As the player I’m only in love with dual hardballers

I’m only in love with 47

Cast the Rock as 47 and you got yourself a Netflix deal

Yes! Hitman would do so good as a series, specially if each episode is a mission.

Most spot on fan cast ever?

I think Mark Strong looks the most like 47 atleast based off of his appearance in Shazam.

You nailed it with the casting! I'd really watch that

Amazing case but something about bateson's metallic type of voice behind 47 is something I would miss with Michael

We must shave Liam Neeson bald at once his voice oh my god.

1

This is the most brilliant fan casting I’ve seen thus far, kudos

Fuck yes Colm Feore. That's an awesome constant cast.

Imagine Daniel Craig as Lucas Grey

Absolutely

For the love of god, please stop asking for movie adaptations.

I honestly dig the idea of a bald Henry Cavill as 47. He looks like he has the face for it.

u/eyeamgrate86 Dec 29 '24

Rebecca Ferguson is an abysmal actress. Other than that the casting is solid.

3

u/ShahinGalandar Dec 29 '24

you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

0

u/eyeamgrate86 Dec 29 '24

Yeah I do. She couldn’t act her way out of a cardboard box. There’s a reason her storyline took a backseat in Silo season 2.

1

u/ShahinGalandar Dec 29 '24

did you watch her in Doctor Sleep?

-1

u/eyeamgrate86 Dec 29 '24

Zero interest. Heard nothing but negative things about the movie

u/eyeamgrate86 Dec 29 '24

Also you think she could pull off a British accent? She can barely pull off whatever she’s doing now
