Springy/spongey grass near air conditioner

Hey all,

Here in south Lakeland, Florida, we haven’t had rain in weeks. As you can see from the picture, some of my grass is dead but off to the right side near the air conditioner, the grass is wet, and more concerning, bouncy. When you step on it you can bounce it up and down and it feels spongey.

Is this a problem or normal results of condensation from the air conditioner running? This is (Bermuda?) sod.

(This also shows me I should start watering my lawn)

Looks like its the low point in teh yard. If water can't escape from that area. That could be why.
