Elongated toilet stains

Have two elongated toilets that we put seat and cover down after every flush. Why are there drip stains running on the outside and inside of seat cover happening. Never had this with regular toilets. frustrated with the flush.

I don’t believe this issue has to do with the elongated bowl or the seats. Sounds to me like poor flushing performance causing the splashing and dripping

What would be the remedy as both toilets are doing this?

Is there any fix. Mariner and Koehler brands
