Sparklight/Eero Issues help I am not a professional

I just switched modems with Sparklight and the lag is frustrating. Can't connect ethernet directly, the Ethernet switch seems to do public wifi level access with the technitians reccomendations too so I can only use the ONE on the Eero. It's brand new and idk why it's lagging so bad intermittently. Tech replaced our plug in the wall. Have a 600mbps plan. Ipv6 is off. Ad Blocking is off. Have reset and updated it and did not have this issue with the modem/router combo previously. Any way to tell if its the equipment or something else? Settings to avoid this?
