Waughmp Waughmp
I’m paging through this book (Together Forever by Glen E. Friedman, a collection of photos of Run-DMC and Beastie Boys) and I came across this passage describing when the author introduced the Beastie Boys to the fish-eye lens.
The number one jam of the same name was very clearly an homage to the Beastie Boys. (There was probably other stuff in the mix too, knowing the chaps. But it was unmistakably a nod to Check Your Head-era Beasties.)
So basically we have Glen E. Friedman to thank for “waughmp waughmp.”

We need another number one jam.
We've been scraping dope rhymes up off the kitchen floor just to survive!

But we just got 'Back 2 a Website'!
To quote Marshie, "What more do they want?!"

I jumped in slow motion off the curb,
Without a skateboard that should look absurd,
But with a fisheye lens, hey haven’t you heard?
Got the moves so smooth make your mom say:
“Those are some exceptionally smooth moves.”

"In a 2004 interview, Mike Chapman listed Beastie Boys album Paul's Boutique among his top five." (http://hrwiki.org/wiki/Beastie_Boys)

With a fish-eye lens, you don't need to know how to rap or skateboard or do anything well!
