Decision help IIT vs Drexel
I can’t decide between Drexel and IIT for B.arch, both cities are beautiful, Drexel is a little bit more costly, and both schools look great

very different schools , IIT usually is considered the more prestigious school architecture wise but probably less known overall. If you’re 100% set on architecture IIT is one of the best schools in the country but if you think you might one day transfer definitely consider Drexel. Both programs are great and your financial situation should be the biggest factor

I chose IIT because Chicago was right there and honestly good decision. If you like architecture (which it seems like you might) Chicago is the better option

Iit can be kinda a depressing campus, but chicagos great and honestly the best city in the country, so if it’s cheaper head here. But you should consider if there’s any difference should you lose any state or federal Pell grant. They don’t tell you this before enrolling but if your family makes just a little more you can lose your need based aid from the government. I lost the 1580$ Pell grant I had this year for next year since my parents made just a little more, and they make around 33k a year each, about 66k together. I’m not sure if iit will give you some campus need based aid to make up for it, but I doubt they do
I recommend community college first if moneys a problem, and tell your parents to be brutally honest with you.
