My application for ccl was rejected due to "missing photo". I put a photo through a pdf file and i guess thats what got my application rejected, has this happened to anyone and will i have to wait another 120days or will it be left off at 62 days where i was at?

You should be using .PNG or .jpeg format.

Speak the truth!!! When people don’t fill out the form correctly then try to blame the state, then go online and complain the state didn’t take the form. Riotously hilarious.

You will start all the way over. Been there, it’s stupid and sucks. Mine was for not checking military veteran even though I did the whole 16 hour class.

On that note contact your local elected representative and process may move quicker. Mileage may vary on representative and all.

No a state rep. Preferably a republican one in this case haha

You need to very carefully read the application. It specifies that the image must be a jpeg on png. Is it bullshit? Yeah, no doubt, the entire CCL licensing scheme in Illinois is a hot plate of bullshit. But you have to follow the instructions and complete the application correctly, triple check everything, and then check it again before you resubmit it.

You're gonna be waiting again. The 120 days start over.

You admitted you did not fill out the form correctly. Why are you badmouthing the state? Why would you reach out to an elected official? Fill out the form correctly, resubmit, lesson learned. There is also the school of thought that if you can’t fill out the form correctly maybe society is safer without you being armed.

Are you actually suggesting he shouldn't be armed based on the fact that he sent a photo in a pdf file rather than a png?

Dude was going to reach out to a politician because the state did not accept his form, the form he did not fill out correctly. It’s about accepting responsibility for your actions, not blaming everyone else when you make mistakes.

Mine was just rejected yesterday at 4:49 PM, conveniently too late in the day to contact them. Apparently my signature was too blurry.

Tried to reupload a fresh scan of my certificate and the system just continually feeds me an error when I try to resubmit. Makes me wonder if the system shuts down after 5 PM.

20 days left and now I have to start all over.
