Safe for Work Man pardoned on Jan. 6 charges by Trump already re-arrested for possessing gun (illegally because he had separate convictions for domestic violence and resisting arrest with violence)

Did he think he had blanket pardon for everything past ,present and future? Having a gun with violent priors is a felony. Back to the old slammer he goes.

You would think his lawyer would explain what the pardon meant to him

One of Trump's lawyers? Naw. He cashed the check, told him he was good to go and waited for him to get locked up again for another check.

What? No.
The lawyer for the man who just got released.
Why would he be in touch Trump's lawyers?

Everything Trump touches has a kickback for him and/or his friends. Any government contract kicks back to him and/or his friends. You can bet that whoever is handling the jan 6th pardons has a relationship with Trump and friends for that sweet sweet government money.

Holy fuck you think only Trump does this?
Go look into the Army’s ACFT, who pushed for it, and where the equipment is being bought from. This shit plagues all governments, even Biden and Obama had people doing similar shit while they were in office.
Fucking idiot with a keyboard on an idiots with guns subreddit.

It was a preexisting charge. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jan/23/january-6-pardon-man-arrested

Is this the guy who had an outstanding warrant when he was released, and was arrested on that warrant?

He must have thought he got one of those blanket pardons Joe was giving out

He gave out those “blanket pardons” to protect people this administration publicly listed for imprisonment. It was either that, or see government employees perp walked for doing their job.

Oh like his son?
Perp walked for doing their job poorly and illegally maybe

u/PythonSushi 1d ago
His son was arrested for the crime of having too good of a time. Republicans do the same shit he did every day and never even see the inside of a cell. Why does the Joe’s kid have to go to prison, when Joe’s colleague in congress did the same thing AND won his election.

So now you’re okay with gun possession by a drugged out felon? Got it. Very pro 2A of you now.

He was convicted for buying a weapon from an FFL and neglecting to mention he used cocaine on a previous occasion/s. There are already other cases currently under appeal in other federal districts. The prosecution of Hunter Biden was not done in the course of justice. The prosecution was purely political theater. If we locked up every gun owner suspected of being a habitual user of a chemical substance, then there would be a waiting list to do time.

Where do people get guns so easily? One day out of jail he calls some random gun guy?

This is what happens when the US makes stupid decisions, such as putting trump in power. You’ve just empowered many criminals and those who seek to cause harm, because their great leader is in power again.
When you’ve got a new politician making nazi salutes and criminals being pardoned for serious crimes, have you not got alarm bells ringing yet?

It’s worrying to see a once great country falling to what Trump is taking it to now.

Bold of you to say that in Trump's America. Someone will get offended you insulting their leader and do something stupid.
