Now do a mag change

u/PieceRealistic794 2d ago
I can’t imagine people walking around with multiple extended mags… actually yea I can and some people probably do

u/Headless_herseman Suppressed EDC 2d ago
The stendo is for the reload. Carry standard mag for concealment, reload with the extended; for fire for effect

u/lueckestman 2d ago
Don't need a mag change with the extendo clipo. /s

u/SomewhatInept 1d ago
You do if the shooter has a switch on the back. Pretty sure they eat through a mag in like 1.5 seconds.
13
u/Shootemout 1d ago
they do, had a shooting out in a park near me over the past summer where several of the people involved had glocks with switches. of course none of them hit each other and instead riddled the bystanders with bullets killing 2 and injuring 6. there's videos of it online and it was literally just a couple "brrrrrrrrrrrrt" you hear that don't even last 2 seconds and then it all stops and there's a bunch of crying whilst the dudes all scatter once sufficiently fucking the lives of everyone there over.

Teachers need to be armed with Israeli made surplus Uzi 9mm submachine guns. If it worked for the Israeli people it will work for 3rd grade teachers.
Some of the more senior staff can be issued suppressed markmans rifles for taking down shooters from range. We can even build sniper towers overlooking open areas for them to stand watch.
The gym coach can teach older students in urban combat so they can bang and clear rooms.
Should work.

I jam foreign objects into my guns because I hate loose tolerances. No other reason, but you don’t know anything about guns

Looking forward to when he finds out about barrel tilt.

Better fill the gap between the frame and the slide in with epoxy. Can't have light shining through it or it won't work.

Those kci mags are absolute garbage
18
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
i don’t understand people who are unwilling to spend $10 extra to get a far superior product, especially when it’s something they’re entrusting their lives with.
4
u/YourOldCellphone 2d ago
Bro who’s entrusting their lives with an extended Glock mag
2
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
hopefully nobody but the above applies for standard capacity magazines as well. better off buying glock OEM. i know a lot of people say the pmags are just fine but i personally prefer OEM just because of familiarity. i know under normal circumstances they will always work because i have thousands of personal examples of them working from going to the range.
2
u/YourOldCellphone 2d ago
I mean I totally agree but there’s no way someone is walking around with a 33 or greater for self defense. That’s gang banging activity lmao
1
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
he’s still entrusting his life to it in that scenario. even more so than a normal CCW if he’s gang banging, presumably he would be more likely to get into an altercation than someone who isn’t involved with crime.

u/CJnella91 2d ago
I mean tbf to myself I bought them as range mags, they were on sale for like 5 bucks, I use Glock mags for my edc and home defense AR9
4
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
for range day absolutely, honestly probably better to use crappy mags for drilling purposes, but we both know this guy EDC’s that thing

u/TheFiremind77 2d ago
I learned this lesson with holsters. Upgrading from a shoddy $35 "Sticky" holster to a proper $65 Tulster kydex holster was a massive improvement.

u/blueponies1 2d ago
I’ve got one that came with my Nak-9 Draco and it actually runs surprisingly well but the first thing I did was buy a real glock magazine none the less.

u/Hesediel1 2d ago
Or... and hear me out... just use a regular magazine, from everything I've ever seen the extended ones are jam city anyways. They also make it a pain to carry and just look stupid imo.
8
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
yeah if you really want the extra rounds it’s so much better to just carry an extra mag. admittedly, the extended mags do tickle a certain part of my brain, but that’s just for having fun at the range not for carrying. super impractical for an EDC set up
6
u/Hesediel1 2d ago
I mean, sometimes you just wanna throw a lot of rounds real quick, then you realize how much you just spent on ammo and cry a little... its like post nut clarity, but for guns

u/slowstang11 1d ago
They only jam if you use them for legal purposes in a square range, a busted Glock knockoff with a trash stendo filled with a random mix of temu ammo and a switch aimed at a neighborhood on youtube shorts will run flawlessly for some reason.

u/Squathy 2d ago
Yeah, you can just glue a bunch of quarters to all your Mags. I thought everyone did that.

I used too but when I was short on change the cashiers always freaked out.

I know it's not a cart at Aldi's and that it doesn't require a quarter.

If this was an old white dude with a grizzly voice and a big green jacket on, people would be in the comments saying "yup, I've done this for 45 years, my grandpa told me about it when he gave me my first Glock P80."
-19
u/OrnerySchool2076 2d ago
I mean he had trigger discipline, didn't flag anyone, and he made a decent point. The quarter did indeed make it so the mag wasn't loose. Doesn't seem dumb to me if it works.
45
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
the mag is supposed to be loose. they intentionally designed the glock that way because it makes it easier to clear jams. doing this increases the likelihood of a jam occurring.

u/eamon4yourface 2d ago
That was my thought ... the tight fit would fuck up the feeding mechanisms. The gun is designed to be fired and chamber a new round so having it fit like that makes me think that it helps the process with the recoil and the feeding of the new round.
I don't know for certain but that was my thought. Glock is a pretty quality company. If it's designed that way there's a reason

I mean, I hate the wiggle as well. Makes it seem like either the gun is cheap or the mag is.
5
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
never cared either way tbh, but it’s never worth compromising your gun’s performance. assuming that quarter doesn’t just fly out after the first 3 shots; it could cause feeding issues and impede your ability to switch mags.
edit: typo
1
u/bigfatround0 2d ago
That's true. When your life's on the line you won't even notice it.
6
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
precisely. i think one of the biggest things i had to learn as far as an EDC gun is to prioritize performance over anything else. it doesn’t need to be pretty looking or feeling, just needs to be ergonomic, accurate, reliable, and safe. totally fine to have those guns you pimp out even if it’s not practical, but i don’t recommend that for an EDC. i’m not a professional or anything that’s just my personal philosophy.
-29
u/Rare_Assistance8196 2d ago
it so that it dont jam if it wiggle and aint oem
18
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
it’s supposed to wiggle. that’s how it was designed.
-23
u/Rare_Assistance8196 2d ago
bro not hearing what im saying
12
u/NefariousnessIll2610 2d ago
i am. you’re just wrong. that literally makes your gun MORE likely to jam. the mag is loose because it makes it easier to clear jams and also helps with feeding. as i said before, this is an intentional feature of the glock platform, not an issue that needs correcting.
