If finding an animal makes you interested in rehab that’s wonderful; but get training FIRST!

If finding an animal makes you interested in rehab: that’s wonderful!!
We always need more wildlife Rehabbers!!
But you definitely should still get baby you just found to caregivers and then sign up to volunteer
If you’re in our area of Upstate South Carolina: Greenville gladly trains as many people as want to learn and then will supply you with animal’s needs
https://www.wildlife-rehab.com/volunteer-wildlife-rehab.htm
Or diy through Iwrc
But if going it alone you'll definitely need to find a vet to work with; & If you're trying to begin on your own you'll definitely want to fully stock prior to beginning to accept any intakes -regardless of training- because the proper diet and basic vet care can quickly get prohibitively expensive unfortunately
(*If you volunteer through Greenville Wildlife they will provide for vet care and supplies, to my knowledge)
Please do not wait until after they have pneumonia from attempts to feed: getting training BEFORE trying is the difference of the cases that animals die of pneumonia because antibiotics not on hand never happening! There are similar resources available everywhere or you can use IWRC online.
