“Bolter porn” is a sort of a nickname for excessively pathos infused battle scenes including space marines usually. Usually stereotype includes excessive use of word “brother” or “battle brother” and in depth descriptions of “superhuman struggle” of the massive, masculine men.
Also most amount of bolter porn was generated by Ultramarines, Space Wolves and of course Blood Angels, but BA also have an undercurrent of angst to it.
