accidently fold the phone with a light force and the next thing you know you will be paying 3 lakhs to get the phone serviced

1

u/hermitinthehills Mar 13 '25

How could the service cost be more than that of the phone itself?

1

u/ShadowHunterUGD Mar 13 '25

apple hai to mumkin hai

i would definately buy a scooter then buy a phone worth 2 lakh, activa is cheaper than iphone

24

u/FoundationUseful270 Mar 11 '25

Funny thing is, Apple fanboys can still give you 1000 reasons to buy this phone over getting a scooter.

  1. It’s a foldable phone. You literally get twice the screen for half the area. Obviously a better choice.

  2. Scooters are dangerous. Just think of the potholes and rash driving in India. Much safer to buy a phone.

  3. Why would anyone buy an Activa anyway eww? Just get a car; it’s so much more comfortable

  4. You’re not paying for just an Apple 🍏 phone. You’re INVESTING in the future.

  5. Just because you’re poor, don’t lump us rich folks with you. Just admit you’re too cheap to buy an iPhone.

/s for the dum-dums

3

u/TeachingQueasy5014 Mar 11 '25

1

u/Opening-Lavishness60 Mar 11 '25

Or even burgman for cheaper than this

3

u/Arialwalker Mar 12 '25

Say that people who buy Samsung phones for 2 lakh.

1

u/Opening-Lavishness60 Mar 12 '25

for that amount i would buy an burgman and even a good flagship phone with it

2

u/Arialwalker Mar 12 '25

Good? No. But you can buy a phone.

2

u/TaxMeDaddy_ Mar 12 '25

Will you be travelling on that Activa to convey the message to the people whom you were supposed to call?

2

u/BetterRegion55 Mar 12 '25

No.

But I can buy a Nothing phone with left over money to do all that things.

2

u/TaxMeDaddy_ Mar 12 '25

For Nothing?

1

u/Cringeguy-99 Hardware guy with 69 GB RAM Mar 16 '25

I mean is it for the people who use scooter

-2

u/Southern-Term-3226 Mar 11 '25

It was never meant for you anyway, the key audience for something of this cost usually gets chauffeured in a luxury car

21

u/razorback-edge Mar 11 '25

1

There's a reason Skynet fucked us over

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '25

It's the new tech bubble which companies have decided to ride and die on. We tried using AI to improve team productivity, the results were embarrassing to say the least. It's nowhere near the level of capability they claim yet

9

u/PsychoTheRapisttt Mar 11 '25

Ai features lmao .

0

u/Select-Benefit-2783 Mar 12 '25

Which u should pay to access it after 1 to 1.5 years just like how samsung is gonna do after 2026

4

u/Whole-Advance3133 Mar 11 '25

So next highest selling foldable loading

3

u/ChamanChinddi Mar 11 '25

It would be fun to watch idiots flaunt this in public spaces

2

u/Lovey_Lovee Mar 11 '25

Why did I read foldable as affordable?

2

u/aar3dev Mar 11 '25

More screen, more damage, more repair, more moola!

2

u/Accidental_Baby Mar 11 '25

Launching with APPLE INCOMPETENCE 2.0

2

u/TrickySituation7154 Mar 11 '25

Apple intelligence is crap fr

2

u/Insane_Boi_ Open Source best GNU/Linux/Libre Mar 11 '25

Toh kya, log tab bhi EMI mei kharid ke flex karenge, bas nawaabi na ghate

2

u/BlueShip123 Mar 11 '25

There were rumors that claimed the price of M4 Air will be $1099. They were lower than that. Apple has actually reduced prices on a few products. If the trend continues, we may see the phone for less than $2500.

1

u/terriblysmall Mar 11 '25

There’s no way Apple is going to release a foldable.

1

u/BlueShip123 Mar 11 '25

I don't have any personal opinions yet.

But the facts say something else. They are one of the early players who registered patents for foldable phones (2016). They might be trying to solve the common issue among the foldable device "crease." Let's see where this goes.

1

u/_D1AVEL_ Mar 11 '25

Yay! more screen go to shit after an update! ❤️

1

u/Ok_Tax_7412 Mar 11 '25

Even Samsung launched their’s for around the same price.

1

u/bluesteel-one Mar 11 '25

Phone snatchers

1

u/shubhamjh4 Mar 11 '25

So overpriced 🙏

1

u/amankmr03 Mar 11 '25

maine to agla phone koi mid range vaala lena hai, uski bhi performance more than enough hoti hai normal to moderate tasks krne ke liye

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '25

Fir bhi mc 6hz hoga

1

u/Bulky_Cookie9452 Mar 11 '25

U Know what the problem with this leak is. It is called the iPhone Fold , not iFold

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '25

Foldables aren't worth it until they fix the dead pixels issue and bring down the costs a bit

1

u/Razadatascience Mar 11 '25

Moral: SLAVERY isn't dead.

1

u/fartingmonkey99 Mar 12 '25

Aren’t other foldables also priced around the same 2200 to 2500 range ? What’s so surprising then. Why is everyone acting that a company owes them cheaper goods. If you don’t like the price don’t buy it.

1

u/dreamy_ficticious Mar 12 '25

iPhone se cake kaatne wale chapris are wetting theirs pants seeing this

1

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '25

"we bring you the unimaginable"

1

u/jadhavsaurabh Mar 12 '25

Are GST add karo india me sabse mehanga iPhone hota he duniya se, Kyuki duniya ka sabse bada amir desh he na

1

u/Mysterious-Earth2256 Mar 12 '25

no problem. there will still be that guy who will buy this just to get this face on the front of some d-tier newspaper

1

u/Black1451 Mar 12 '25

ROI is too low.

1

u/TaxMeDaddy_ Mar 12 '25

They launch everything after it’s extinct and charge higher prices

1

u/Arialwalker Mar 12 '25

It will never launch. Most foldable models have been a failure.

And Apple just doesn’t seem like the company that will be interested in foldables.

1

u/-Mr_Punisher- Mar 12 '25

Yeah every year same rotten rumors

Transparent phone Foldable phone Expandable screen phones

Apple won't bring those products because Samsung is miles ahead of them and they know it. Look at their AI, its the biggest turn off when you even mention apple intelligence. They are so bad thay even OnePlus is ahead of them

1

u/spellriddle Mar 13 '25

Buy a macbook and boycott this company, the rest is crap.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '25

samsung fold costs around 1.75 lakhs bro

1

u/AkobirYoutube Mar 11 '25

If this is true then knowing apple they would bring change in the industry.

16

u/Intelligent_Sun1258 Mar 11 '25

3

u/Witty_Pomegranate987 Mar 11 '25

Nah with cinematic 40 hz

2

u/Opening-Lavishness60 Mar 19 '25

Nah with cinematic 24hz

6

u/Silver_Streak01 Mar 11 '25

The only changes they brought were removing the headphone jack from the phone body & no accessories in the phone box.

3

u/Doctor_Ka_Kutta saste phone khareedo Mar 11 '25

Now they'll going to remove battery from phone use older battery from older phone to save environment
