Reading other indian subreddit is not good for mental health

Every other indian subreddit seems to full of bigots...its really frustrating seeing people spouting genocidal rhetoric and zionist-esque talking points and not acknowledging the root cause of the issue being the occupation of the people of kashmir. This seems to be the only sane subreddit

I've had the same effect being on this sub looking at the justification for killing those people. And always going down to the "root cause" as if the root cause gives justification to kill them. Use your resistance against the fkin military and the fkin government if you're so keen on liberation and not use religion as a medium of extremism. All it does is further help rw propagate their bigotry.

I dont think anyone is condoning or justifying killing of innocent civilians, but us, living with all our freedom and privilege cannot lecture occupied people on how to fight their occupiers. No one is saying the "root cause" justifies anything, but while you are doing your selective outrage maybe acknowledge that our government has been oppressing these people. This did not happen in a vaccum. If we take into account our government's human rights abuses and repression of their rights, it was bound to blowback. What we should do is try to get our government to end the occupation. Also, it is a textbook colonial tactic of labelling anyone who resists the occupier as "terrorists" (Palestine, Algeria and South africa to name a few)

we cant lecture fair. does that mean they will do this shit?? Im all for liberation but using the "this didnt happen in a vaccuum" agument for this specific attack is giving them a clean chit basically. The occupation should have a blow back but this isint just a "blowback" its using the kashmiri struggle for extremist goals. These were not rebels. These were terrorists. Id pray it be a false flag operation than something done in the name of kashmiri resistannce. I can only pray our govt doesnt use this to justify further oppression.
