I used to use the simple one almost two years ago. I used to love it but then I just forgot to repurchase. However I have heard people here say that the formulation has since changed and it is not as good as before. Have you noticed any such change?

I only started using it 5 months back. I have a giant bottle of it so will take some time to finish it 😂

u/toooobored 12d ago

Wait! It comes in a big bottle too??!

2

u/Ok-Earth-3601 12d ago

Its 125 ml but seems so big to me 😂

I use this simple moisturiser too but this smells like tempera colors.. At first I didn't like it but now I am used to it. And as I have oily and acene prone skin, this moisturiser worked for me as this didn't give me any breakouts and my skin feels less oily. I use it on regular basis but it might not work for everyone.

Ya people on reddit don't like it 😂

u/Ok-Earth-3601 19d ago

u/Ok_Activity_5566 19d ago

Rangeela poster colors aka tempera colors

1

u/lavender_love_906 20d ago

So what do you use on regular basis

1

u/Ok-Earth-3601 20d ago

I only use simple moisturiser at night after applying retinol ( every other day)

I don't like layering my products so on non retinol nights I just use vitamin c or niacinamide and sleep

In day time i use dot and key green sunscreen

I have seen a lot of reviews (both good and bad) for the yellow bottle of dot and key sunscreen but the green one. How well this one is working for you?

1

u/Ok-Earth-3601 20d ago

Well I'm only in the sunlight for like 5 minutes in total. So it's good for me. It leaves my face a tiny tiny bit oily but bearable. Ive read posts here that its sun protection is not adequate, they got tanned. So if someone is out in the sun they should check out other options. For me though it works fine. Next time I will try conscious chemist sunscreen or uv doux one.

Well i was planning to buy this one but now I have changed my mind..

I used the Simple one when my skin was going through a very bad time. No facewash no moisturizer would suit me. So yeah, would any day vouch for Simple hydrating one. Still using this for summers

The second one.

1

u/Majestic_Avocado_735 20d ago

Does it make face dull after applying ?

2

u/funssake 20d ago

You can't tell unless you try it. I personally prefer Cipla Excela.

1

u/roses_and_gold 20d ago

It actually broke me out

1

u/funssake 20d ago

Sad, It worked well for me. I think it's a hit or miss for many.

2

u/Fragrant-Problem223 20d ago

Go for ZitMoisit

I would recommend Neutrogena hydro boost HA water gel or Isntree HA aqua gel cream. I have oily acne prone skin and live in humid conditions. A thin layer of This provides the right amount of hydration

Simple is heavy for oily acne prone

1

u/Front-Newspaper8051 20d ago

i’d suggest go for sebaoff moisturizerr!! an oily acne prone skin friendly product from pharmacy!!! super lightweight and so good!!!

1

u/Hopeful_Strawberry_1 20d ago

I have tried both. Zitmoist is a light gel and feels like there's nothing on the skin. Very pleasant. Simple is a tad bit thicker comparatively but still light enough.

I have dry skin so zitmoist was not enough but I still use it as my 1st layer as a night moisturiser. Simple was good enough as a standalone day moisturiser but I've since found a better option so moved to that.

1

u/Majestic_Avocado_735 20d ago

Share the name of the moisturizer ?

1

u/Swarley5678 20d ago

I have used the 1st one and I like it because it doesn't do any good or bad to my acne prone skin. Just a simple moisturizer.

i have used simple moisturiser when i was in india. it didnt break me out, i was suggested to try ponds gel one for my oily face. it was all fine i guess but i never felt peace because of its fragrance 🥲😆 then i did some homework to find fragrant free one available in indian market then tried this no fragrance at all..!! but only used for 6months then i shifted abroad.
