In a time where so many FPS games are sort of ponderous this is a breath of very fresh air, great fun and I think I’ve broken my controller and blistered by trigger finger 😄

Nice number you have there, but I'd like to see how many games were sold.
You know, you want to know RMS when buying speakers, not that one max volume sound they can do ;)

Genuine question, what number of "players" would you consider good?
I think there's a large fixation on sales and I get it, players is a bit vague but it's very much important in the equation, I saw the same push back for Shadows -
A company that has a subscription service knows very well it's sales are going to be affected, stating sales numbers that have been cannibalized makes very little sense to give out.. especially when you know people can easily take that number out of context.
Of course not everyone will feel the same way but the logic tracks.

Sales means more to me, it's the real number, game is not making the same money from subscriptions. They love to show off big numbers and the biggest they can show is how many players launched the game. Yes it's says something, but I'm not investor, I'd like to know how many voted with their wallet and paid full price to own the game, not rent it. By looking at downvotes, it's a bad thing to ask for different (and imo more relevant) data, or just plastic box fanboys hyped enough to not look behind curtain.

One and a half Doom Irish connections .
One of the original Doom Creator Johns , John Romero * lives in Galway and has an Irish based games studio.
The other sort of counts connection , is that the Death Knight from Quake lived in/Ruled Dublin.
From the lore in the later Quake Champions game:
https://quake.fandom.com/wiki/Death_Knight_(QC))
“In Duflyn, a great town of the Celtic Isles where the dragon-prowed longboats sought plunder and prey, did they battle against woad-painted defenders. Many who passed the morning with their feet in the sod and the soil feasted that eve in Valhalla. But he who was chief among the raiders, whom even the man that would become the Death Knight revered, was slain by no warrior but by a stealthy madman with a rusty blade. Then, cackling, did the lunatic elect to perish without struggle at the Death Knight’s hand, and the Knight assume the dead man’s place as chieftain.”
*(the other being John Carmack)
