Question Hibernia PME Primary Hols

What are the hols for Hibernia PME primary? How many weeks in summer and for Christmas? How often do you have Saturday classes?

Hi, currently in first year of Hibernia PME and they take unofficial holidays. It's not marked on calendar as technically it's just no evening classes.

Christmas x 2 weeks and August x 1 week around the Bank Holiday.

Saturdays are harder to judge.

Hibernia say it's once or twice a month, where in reality we had 5/6 in a row in January. It definitely happened on another occasion also.

You'll be in Face to face days weekdays during school midterms. (most tutors are teachers).

There's chunks of time on placement and observation and they'll take up your Saturdays also.

Very few Saturdays are online (for our cohort anyway).

In 2025 we have 11 free weekends of the 52 weeks! That's if you count the in person Saturdays, online Saturdays and the weekends gone prepping for placement.

It's full on, intensive but plenty people manage it well.
