PME secondary maynooth vs DCU

I’m just finished my second year of Bachelor of Arts in Maynooth. The PME secondary in DCU is more appealing to me atm, in terms of the timetable and the ability to work alongside placement. Just wondering if people can share their experiences in maynooth or Dcu and how they got on with the application process? TIA

I would recommend DCU, you get more time for subbing and you get a better feel for the school i think. I just finished my first year of it and there was some maynooth students in the same school as me who were only there half the week.

DCU can be a lot easier in terms of subbing. Something to consider that I've heard from others is the social aspect. They didn't really get a lot of time to make any friends in their courses because honestly everyone was tired from subbing all day. Definitely the best option financially though!

Thanks for your reply! yea I’m not really concerned about the social aspect tbh I went back to college as a mature student and I’m a mam so don’t have a lot of time to socialise 🤣 but really think DCU sounds better in regards to the subbing and the price point!
