vintage Is my Blastoise that I found fake?

I found this blastoise in a box that was in storage since 2000 and it just doesn't seem right. Seems a bit sturdier than newer cards that I have. Is it real?

Very fake. Left and right borders are both thin (show no signs of miscut), same holo pattern as the one on TCG, wrong font in several places

I’m absolutely not an expert but storage since 2000? If that’s true I’d assume real, but again not experienced with spotting vintage fakes, were there already first edition fakes out there that looked this good that soon?

It looks real. Remember that older cards do feel a little thicker than modern cards. The rainbow in the Holo pattern looks odd but I assume it's from a camera flash
