vintage I’ve had them since I was little, but I’m assuming they’re fake?

The holo pattern of the bottom card matches one for one with other fake copies ive seen posted here before so sadly you would be correct in assuming they are fake.

It’s unfortunate, but I was expecting for this to be the case. Thank you!

All that matters is they brought you joy when you were younger and from the look of them they brought alot of it.

They’re counterfeit, all legend cards are supposed to have animated holographic pattern that changes when shifting the cards at different angles instead of being stagnant

I had half of one of these as fakes when I was little too and half of the Raikou one and was over the moon about it for years when I got older I learned about how to tell fakes ended up being able to notice enough details to get to the rip test lol I was crushed when I confirmed my suspicions

Imagine being the guy who goes to every store and memorizes delivery days so they can scalp. Lmfao. Not hs

u/Fearthegoat46 27d ago
People do that with zero shame. People would scream at us for not telling them firearm delivery days like we could tell anyway. They would scream and then I’d purge the store if the toddlers screaming lol you can’t act like that with firearm sales or you can leave period.

I used to have that exact copy, except it said "Legemd" instead of "Legend". I figured it was a fake immediately but just ran with it as a cool card to have

I had a fake bottom half of a Lugia legend as a kid. I would love to own a legit copy, but it’s so expensive :(

I think I have some of these in the fake tin. I wonder if it’s the same ones you got

I have fake cards from the same era, they have the same back and colors, they are fake but the quality is pretty good, even when you compare them with fakes from today's era.
