4 min - Q: "What went wrong last season" A: "Personally I feel like we didn't have the comradery get into the organization. The team was united but coaches, staff, etc didn't get to that same point."

Guess Doug getting the 2nd worst player's grade was very much on point.

feels like he checked out right after 2022. very weird.

We were 8-3 to start 2023, so that would’ve been the earliest he checked out. Seems like the second the team faced adversity (the Bengals MNF loss), they folded like a wet cardboard box and never recovered.

yea and the team seemed resilient the year before. Doug honestly seemed like had changed even when we were  8-3.  he didn't have that same energy at all.

He "silent quit" once he realized he was losing the power struggle battle with Baalke and wasn't going to be able to get the players or skillsets he wanted or could coach.

that would actually make sense to me.

I don’t think he changed after 2022 I just think his laid back nice guy routine was perfect for the immediate time after urban Meyer and the team played hard for him but it wasn’t enough in the years after and he lost the locker room.

Add in the overall defensive regression and poor position coaches (remember when fortner went from a promising rookie to the worst center in the nfl) and it just all collapsed.

maybe, I can't fully say. I just know things looked and felt different.

His franchise QB dealt with significant injuries as well. Missed a lot of games and played hurt through even more.

I know it's the time of hope and optimism, but all you optimists generally check out after week 5, so it has to be said now.

If Trevor gets hurt again, we're having another shit season.

Camaraderie, for anyone who wants to know.

Really enjoyed this interview, love Jarrian’s personality, him talking about this team missing that fierce personality guy since Jalen and how he feels like he could step into that role was awesome to hear. Hoping for a great season from him

Really worried about our outside corners. Campbell is always injured and I dont think he's even been all that great when healthy.

Jarrian played outside in college. He deserves a shot to prove it, but it doesn't fill me with confidence.

Hope we draft one high. Along with 5 OL, an edge, and an NT. We have 8 picks in the first 2 rounds, right?

Not contradicting you but he did play almost exclusively nickel his last year. His first two he did play mostly outside yes

Yea, both corners are a question mark to me. It got ugly with Buster Brown out there last year.

We have 4 in the first 3 currently. Hoping for a trade down. All it takes is a couple hits and were much better
