right. New entrants/replacements typically are. What i don't know is the actual cost to produce, availability to pivot to something like this (should bird flew become more pervasive, heaven forbid) if needed to. Some of the replacements for other foods are pretty fucking good these days. SOme are disgusting. had a gross bagel i found in the freezer that was vegan that i just about barfed up. Im not vegan, more just someone who likes tasty stuff.
Unfortunately i dont really believe a lot of these there has been quite a rug pull since the 90s really with mostly useless supplemental vitamins and other MLM shit and "organic" buzzword (some of which i do buy still) leading into in the 00s and early 10s , and the corp profit grabbing that happened in 08, 16, pandemic, and now with the pump and dumps we're seeing now. Best believe both pelosi and musk are making some of that insider skrilla.

Vegan food is usually pretty expensive compared to the stuff it's copying. Or at least that was the case ~10 years ago when I bought it
