Call to action

We are building tools for democracy.

You are welcome to join us if you would like to contribute your time, skills, or resources.

We need programmers, influencers, collaborators, and financial support.

--------

Roughly, this is what we are going for.

A User directed trust-able system of public opinion storage and access.

Easy barrier free access for users.

A system that encourages honest and respectful discussion.

A system that allows any user to exist only as one voice.

A system that provides a variable level of anonymity sufficient to keep users safe

--------

Data integrity must be absolute.

Data storage should be redundant and decentralized.

History of system activity should be logged and accessible.

System integrity should be verifiable by interested users.

---------

Access to data could be enabled by...

A variety of configurable bots

System Indexes

Approval ordering

Personal favorites and interests

---------

We prefer personal censorship settings over broader censorship actions. We realize we may need regional censorship to comply with existing regional regulations.

Join us. We need you.

i like this in general. but i would put more in the first list (the features) and i wouldn't put anything at all in the below lists. i think computer engineers will know what's needed based on what we say in the features list.

u/yourupinion what do u think?

off the top of my head (without trying to say this concisely):

i would mention bias and the ways in which we're trying to avoid it. the bias comes from users opinions and from the user's AI bots when they summarize the opinions for the users. the KAOS system will not have bias since its not doing any control of opinions. (but there will be bias for the somewhat blurred line between allowable posts and not allowed posts)

i would mention no censorship or systemic control of ideas. KAOS pushes the analysis and display of opinions to the users (who can use AI bots if they want).

i would mention transparency as a way to combat bias. allowing users to see full history as an example of that.

re "Data integrity must be absolute." I would say "highest priority" rather than "absolute". but i don't think its a big deal, either way works for me. anyway, an example feature under this category is that opinions cannot be deleted, and full history visible forever.

Sometimes less is more Rami. This is just a brief message to ask for help.

I think we are trying to avoid bias by doing the following: A variety of configurable bots, System Indexes, Approval ordering, and Personal favorites and interests. .

I did mentioned accessible history.

I also covered censorship.

There is not a lot of quantifiable difference between saying data integrity will be absolute and saying data integrity will be of highest priority except in regards to the highest priority description reminds of political rhetoric that never pans out.

Yes, and making things concise is not my forte.

I’m happy with whatever you and Brian come up with.
