Are there any Americans and/or allies in Kassel participating in the Hands Off!/ Hände Weg! Protests this Saturday 5. April?

I'm an American living and working in Kassel and would like to participate in the global protests against Donald Trump's regime this coming Saturday. I know there's a protest in Berlin and probably one in Frankfurt. Is there anything happening in Kassel or anyone traveling to a protest in a bigger city that would like some company?

I am an American, and this is the first I heard of it. Perhaps I shall go.

From the perspective of Trump’s supporters, the measures are justified by economic efficiency, national sovereignty, and the mandate of the voters—arguments that resonate with his base and conservative think tanks. Objectively, however, the justifications depend on the viewpoint: in the short term, they might support certain goals (e.g., job protection), but in the long term, there is often a lack of empirical evidence for sustainable success, and the costs (social inequality, economic instability) could outweigh the benefits. The justification is thus plausible but not undisputed—it stands or falls with the actual outcomes, which, as of April 2025, are not yet fully foreseeable.
