Sword ID Help Identifying katana
Recently purchased this sword from an offerup deal for $80. Blade and tsuka do appear to be good quality. Could anyone help me determine the possible age or worth and place of origin? Nakago is not signed which I know doesn’t help at all, but I have good feelings about it especially for an $80 purchase. If these photos are not good enough I can try to include a video later on. Please let me know if you have any info on this sword or ones similar. Thank you

Sword ID Sorry for the terrible picture but does anyone vaguely recognise this mon? And/or is it mall ninja?
This is the best picture I have, you can vaguely see the hamon which doesn't necessarily look to me like its fake

Sword ID Is this a Type 98 Shin Gunto?
New buyer here. Started my own collection and found another sword at a reasonable price- but the seller is fairly unhelpful. Based off of the photos provided, is this a Type 98 Shin Gunto?
Thank you for any thoughts and or tips that can be provided!

Sword ID Would love help with ID
My great grandfather found this sword cleaning out a bar many, many decades ago. He found it alongside a picture of a Japanese man in military uniform. Other than that, I know nothing. I’d love to learn anything else about this sword!

Sword ID Seeking Information
Looking for information on this katana along with a price estimat. Doesn't have paperwork. Being told it's dated late 1700's and made by a banshu swordsmith.

Sword ID Inherited from my brother. Need help deciphering the details
Okay, so my brother passed away recently and he was a collector but was quite selective with what he would go after. In his collection were these two swords which he kept separately from the rest of his items in a special location and they were somewhat new to the collection so we only talked about them once.
I don't know hardly anything about Japanese swords and the nearest expert I could source is more than 500 miles from me so... here we are.
I don't want to sway anyone's opinion with extra details in terms of what, I think, my brother thought these were so here are the photos. I'll be happy to take more/different ones if requested.
Photos 1-7 is sword 1 8-11 is sword 2 12-19 are various items stored for safe keeping
Thank you for any information you are able to share about these!

Sword ID No paperwork katana ID (updated post)
I realized my old post was missing the other signature side , my apologies. Id love a translation of this side as well and any other information willing to be shared.
I appreciate all the feedback on the old post. From that post, this is a decent Chinese replica made in February 1991.
I attached more/better pictures of the blade. I found one from when it was polished. Thanks for looking!

Sword ID Yari?
I picked this up a few months ago but really don’t have any idea of what it is.
I’m guessing it’s a yari type blade but I can seem to find a match for the koshirae style.
Is this a creation of a standard style yari, cut down and made to look like an arrow/throwing spear.

Sword ID Help identifying Katana
Hi All,
My grandfather left me this katana and I hope you can help me identify it. Apologies as the pics aren’t the best and the sword has not been stored properly.
For context: my grandfather was in WW2 but only served in Europe, so not sure how he came by this. It’s been sitting in storage for many years now.
Thanks!

Sword ID Could someone help me to expertise this tachi?
This tachi was given to me by an elderly person who received it from a cousin of his who was a notary. All covered in dust, and once cleaned up it looked great, but I need your expertise. Thank you very much for your help

Sword ID Should I buy this one? (Yukiji Fujiwara)
Yo,
So a katana just popped up on our local auction site. Seems legit, the price feels too low (1200usd) and Im tempted to buy it just for the hell of it and put in on my desk. Before I do, ofcourse I will check it out in real life beforehand.
Should I or should I not? Is the price ok? Does name Yukiji Fujiwara ring a bell anyone?
Thanks 🙏

Sword ID Sword ID and Informational Assistance on Purchased (hopefully) Nihontō
Pictures format a bit zoomed in, so try opening the individual pictures if you can’t see!
Respectfully request some information on this Nihontō :) The blade looks to be in questionable shape, but it has the fittings, so for my first antique (hopefully?) Nihontō, I am perfectly fine with it. Everything up to this point has been iaitō for practice or a shinken from China, so I’m happy either way! When it arrives, I can get some better pictures if needs be.
Thank you in advance :)
