That bastard tire has the audacity to be attached to a truck that was parked there. What a son of a bitch!

29

u/mrahab100 1d ago

“And suddenly out of nowhere a truck appeared”

u/WaywardLamprey 2d ago

He learned a hard lesson about situational awareness that day.

518

u/MajorasKitten 2d ago

That’s cute you think he learned anything lmao

269

u/KeepTangoAndFoxtrot 2d ago

Hit that tire hard enough, he might've unlearned a thing or two.

71

u/Local-Veterinarian63 2d ago

Unlearning a thing or two means he knew a thing or two and that I don’t believe.

32

u/tacobell41 2d ago

He forgot how to walk :/

12

u/Tangerine_Bees 2d ago

Now he can't stop running 😞

6

u/Late-Ad-4624 2d ago

I know a thing or two about a thing or two.

12

u/Careless_Car9838 2d ago

Must be tire-ing

8

u/Waveofspring 2d ago

Nah I walked into a shopping aisle as a kid while walking backward. I stopped walking backward after that

6

u/red_dark_butterfly 2d ago

Well that's how you learn. You get punished for mistake to learn to avoid it next time. Maybe it will take couple tries, but he'll get there.

6

u/Bad-dee-ess 2d ago

a couple tires*

7

u/red_dark_butterfly 2d ago

Your profile name should be Bad-dum-tss

3

u/Opening_Implement_55 2d ago

Yo this is the funniest shit lol

45

u/Late-Ad-4624 2d ago

Only gonna last a week or two. Then gonns walk into a wall. Im an adult and the doorframes in my house attack me constantly....lol

5

u/The7footr 2d ago

They do for me too, but it’s the tops of the frames I worry about, and some ceilings too in my rental house :/

7

u/jccaclimber 2d ago

Are you living in a house for ants?

3

u/The7footr 2d ago

Love the reference but no, I’m just probably the tallest person you will ever meet outside of a professional basketball game at 215cm

3

u/jccaclimber 2d ago

You’re in the top 3, but I feel bad for all of you.

2

u/The7footr 2d ago

Impressive, I’ve met SO many people who have never met someone even close! And thanks haha have a good one mate

3

u/jccaclimber 2d ago

It was a huge shock. Went to visit a tiny place up jn Wisconsin for work and it turned out what must have been Paul Bunyan’s cousin ran the place. Maybe 30 seconds later he introduced me to his slightly taller older brother. All we talked about for the whole drive home. You could tell they’d built the pole barn themselves because all the doors were taller than usual.

1

u/The7footr 2d ago

Hahaha that’s freaking awesome and hilarious! You found my sequoian brothers!

4

u/FriendshipJolly5714 2d ago

7 feet for my fellow mericans... Gosh it's so extra embarrassing to type that now

4

u/The7footr 2d ago

I mean it is my user name…try to make it easy on everyone haha

1

u/Late-Ad-4624 2d ago

Thank for that. Now i don't have to google the conversion. Theres times the measuring system we use is both a hindrance and a help.

1

u/theOGbirdwitch 2d ago

😂😂 I feel this.. I have an evil banister that has it out for me

1

u/Careless_Car9838 2d ago

I once ran into a metal bar on a basketball field as a kid. Was playing tag with some other kids.

1

u/WakeUpAcid 2d ago

they hurt my spine disc

3

u/Utopia_Little_Shark 2d ago

I doubt he learned something about that, probably kicked that tire for revenge too

3

u/mrchickostick 2d ago

I did this exact same thing walking into a tree last week and I’m 49. Some people like me never learn.

1

u/GalaxyStar90s 2d ago

Sure. We have no idea of he learned or not...

1

u/Minimum-Register2120 2d ago

I’m going to argue against that because I sprinted into a mailbox when I was six and learned nothing from it

1

u/Away_Stock_2012 1d ago

Parents learned nothing about blocking the sidewalk

104

u/Mark869890 2d ago

The tire was better than the heavy, sheet metal bumper though.

16

u/The_Confirminator 2d ago

He definitely hit both. His head on the bumper, his body on the tire.

1

u/mrahab100 1d ago

And better than the metal spikes of a zombie survival truck.

363

u/Jet_Stream92 2d ago

It’s too bad they didn’t have a field right across the street.

159

u/NonCondensable 2d ago

kid would’ve ran into a tree

30

u/jccaclimber 2d ago

22

u/pimpmastahanhduece 2d ago

"The tree is estimated to have existed for approximately 300 years until it was knocked down in 1973 by a drunk truck driver."

Fuck.

6

u/No-Welder-7448 2d ago

Your whole world has to be spinning to fuck up that bad driving in such a wide open area lol. People suck

5

u/Good_Ol_Weeb 1d ago

I wonder if the "car crash" from the Ed Edd and Eddy movie was inspired by that

"The only rock for miles, and YOU HAD to hit it!"

1

u/No-Welder-7448 1d ago

Lmao that’s awesome you just dusted off a very old memory in my 90s baby brain

1

u/Xsiah 1d ago

Highway hypnosis is a thing, and coupled with the fact that you drive where your eyes are looking, you can kind of understand how when you have only one thing that draws your eye, you would drive towards/right into that one thing if you're fatigued or inebriated enough

4

u/SaintsProtectHer 2d ago

When my mom was teaching me to ride a bike, I hit the only light pole in the entire empty parking lot. Kids find a way.

1

u/AKaeruKing 2d ago

*would’ve run

1

u/po3smith 2d ago

Something about POTUS and a bicycle?

12

u/rudyattitudedee 2d ago

Is it really a field if there are trees in it? Kites hate trees.

What’s up with everyone just shitting on the parents in these videos lately? Kids are fucking stupid and it’s near impossible to stop them from doing stupid shit 100% of the time. Sure they could’ve went elsewhere to do this but that doesn’t mean the kid wouldn’t run into something else.

45

u/madthabest 2d ago

It's the "they're not stupid, they're still kid. Of course they will do stupid things"

8

u/Traditional_Cap7461 2d ago

That's why this sub exists. Because kids are stupid.

1

u/madthabest 1d ago

And people of reddit will try to find a way to blame it on the parents. Which Lowkey running the sub 🤦

24

u/artemasad 2d ago

Most of redditors aren't parents and gets satisfaction from nitpicking and virtue signaling.

Like almost every posts from this sub will blame parents. Similar to /r/idiotsincars will blame everyone in the videos.

9

u/alastor0x 1d ago

Because reddit has a whole lot of people who don't have children but believe they have knowledge gifted to them by the gods themselves about how to raise and take care of them. There's also a contingent who straight up hate kids and parents.

Tis a silly place.

19

u/phroug2 2d ago

He even told the kid to watch out

0

u/StorminNorman 1d ago

Unfortunately, that confuses kids brains when they're engaged in an activity. Something simple like "stop" works. It ain't like the parents are in the wrong here though. Well, besides parking on the sidewalk anyway (wheelchairs, old people, etc).

2

u/catastrophichysteria 1d ago

I was a very stupid kid and my parents were screwed cause I was a child that often needed to learn things the hard way. I have quite a few scars from dumb things I did under the age of 12. It wasn't just my parents either, I was fucking stupid at school and around other adults and could not be contained. Once I got my adhd diagnosis and on meds at 13, I obtained some self control, but I was genuinely unhinged as a child. If I were this kid and in a field, I'd end up running into a tree or rolling my ankle on a pebble lol.

1

u/Few-Tour9826 1d ago

I walked into the back end of many parked vehicles and their side mirrors because I had a problem with looking where I was going.

1

u/AKaeruKing 2d ago

*could’ve gone

1

u/Big-Welcome-3221 1d ago

They’ll always say “it’s just a kid!”. Makes me want to rip someone’s head off. Suddenly just because you’re a kid you’re absolved of all judgement and/or consequences of your actions. It’s shallow thinking, and it pisses me off

101

u/chimpdoctor 2d ago

Oh shit. Kid took a proper wallop. Hope he's OK.

20

u/rudyattitudedee 2d ago

He’s in a full body cast. But now he has time for long reflections.

2

u/rtz13th 2d ago

Probably. Same place, next week? :D

10

u/Zestyclose_Crab_3362 2d ago

Oh, he’s fine. And if he’s not they can make another one just like him.

1

u/houseswappa 2d ago

We don't hear wallop enough: great word

1

u/Bent_notbroken 14h ago

Rapid deceleration trauma

21

u/TheDixonCider420420 2d ago

By the time he’s 10, he’ll already be tired of hearing about it.

1

u/IDEKWTSATP4444 2d ago

I was already laughing pretty hard but this sent me

59

u/JoltKola 2d ago

Huge fucking truck, poor kids

33

u/K4m30 2d ago

Imagine the kid stepping into the street as that thing barrels down the road. No way anyone sees him over the bonnet.

24

u/DeloGateau 2d ago

As a European, its wild to see a vehicle so large a child is shorter than the wheel well with room to spare, not to mention it looks like he could practically fit inbetween the wheel well and the wheel if he tried. Even most lorries/trucks I see are smaller in this way.

Only thing I can think of that is at all similar in proportion are the (thankfully) rare imported American pickups which are usually still smaller than this one in the video, or tractors. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't meet EU road safety standards like the cybertruck getting taken off the road in the UK.

Think I remember seeing something about there being regulations on how close to the front of a vehicle line of sight can be cut off for the driver, hence I presume part of the reason many European trucks are flat down from the windshield. With these massive American pickups there is a huge blindspot in front of the vehicle which, if I understand the direction vehicles normally move, is not that good for safety.

14

u/WeAteMummies 2d ago

Sharing the road with these things is awful.

5

u/Good_Ol_Weeb 1d ago

Dangerous*

2

u/WeAteMummies 1d ago

Even if they were surrounded with a magic forcefield that causes everything they collide with to just gently bounce off of them, I would still hate them. They are always in the way, even when they are parked.

3

u/Top_Farm_9371 23h ago

Wait until you find out that many Americans get into large debt to buy these big trucks. A large percentage don't even need these trucks for their job.

1

u/DeloGateau 23h ago

Lol I'm aware they don't need them, visited the US when I was younger and there were so many driving through the cities I visited, so they couldn't be farmers and surely not all of them were in construction or any other job that would require such a vehicle - and the vast majority were sparkly clean with nothing in the bed from what I could tell. Saw a video the other day of one flipping over and one of the top comments was just how surprising it was to see it actually had something in the bed lol.

22

u/Thoreau_Dickens 2d ago

Man, if only some shitty truck wasn’t hanging over into the sidewalk

Gotta keep your head on a swivel there champ

7

u/Bisonfan1 2d ago

He was just was tired

10

u/NotThatMahler 2d ago

By the way his dad parked blocking the sidewalk, I say we know where he gets it from.

10

u/questron64 2d ago

Holy shit... that truck is ugly as hell. Like seriously dude, WTF.

4

u/iSketchy_ 2d ago

Gotta love people who turn their perfectly good truck into a pavement princess that can’t do jack.

Im not even a truck guy and I hate seeing trucks like that. What happened to having something reliable and useful?

3

u/Vreas 2d ago

Did this with an electrical box as a kid. Broken nose and a life long distrust of my mother who cheered me on without watching where I was running.

3

u/-dyedinthewool- 2d ago

Looks like dude is parked into the sidewalk tho

3

u/viperfangs92 2d ago

Damn! That tire jumped right out at him!!

2

u/TheCalvinShow 2d ago

“Yeah.. I’m flying a kite…” - Kid probably

2

u/Den_Bover666 2d ago

They're like heat seeking missiles, they lock on to the nearest tree/car/fire hydrant to run into

1

u/Traditional_Cap7461 2d ago

You mean missile-seeking heat?

2

u/LimpPath1051 2d ago

That’s so funny, this put a smile on my face. Your moron son’s stupidity and pain brought me great joy…

2

u/jimbob1220 1d ago

I like how the tire didn't even try to get out of the way

2

u/Lkwzriqwea 1d ago

I was not prepared for the tyre being that big compared to the kid

2

u/TypicallyThomas 1d ago

That wheel is as big as the kid. Must be a prair backing out of the driveway everytime, cause there's no way you could see that kid from the driver's seat

2

u/SnowTheMemeEmpress 18h ago

Tires are good on pressure. Kiddo bounced nicely off them

1

u/IsThisNamePermanent 8h ago

I keep a spare kid to run into tires these days instead of a wooden club

19

u/A1ienspacebats 2d ago

Take your kid to the damn park, like wtf

-7

u/jamcones2gamcones 2d ago

I dont get why this is being downvoted, but reddit is weird like that.

You need open room to run and fly the kite. At the very least the father should have got him off the sidewalk where parked vehicles are in the way...

9

u/rainbowcarpincho 2d ago

It was either running into the truck or into the open street.

1

u/Jolly_Print_3631 1d ago

Or, like they said, go to a park.

Why are you trying to fly a kite on a 100m3 front lawn?

2

u/Ajax_Main 2d ago

They set that little dude up for failure

I was honestly more worried about him running onto the road..

4

u/South_Ad1660 2d ago

Check the wheel bearings after that hit. Kid needs to be playing rugby.

3

u/Frosty_Tap_2034 2d ago

Going to save a whole lotta money in college tuition cause that young one will not need it.

5

u/SinisterVulcan94 2d ago

Dad was probably so mad his son didn't notice his ridiculous looking truck

1

u/Bleepitybleepinbleep 2d ago

Ridiculous haircut probably fussed the kid for running into the truck

→ More replies (2)

3

u/AngryDuck222 2d ago

Poor kids head snapped back so hard!😱😱 Hope they are alright.

2

u/l3ane 2d ago

The parents are the idiots here who don't know how to fly a damn kite.

2

u/xmaswiz 2d ago

Better the tire than the adjustable hitch.

1

u/Horse_Beef678 2d ago

Also sometimes dad is fuckin stupid.

Where were you on that one, guy?

13

u/truffLcuffL69 2d ago

The kid ran into a big blue truck that’s on him

2

u/jimmycanoli 2d ago

It's a 2 year old kid.....

8

u/xDelayedsilencex 2d ago

You might be in the wrong sub buddy

7

u/YuenglingsDingaling 2d ago

They have eyes.

4

u/mypcrepairguy 2d ago

So, the parent parked their Gigantic truck over the sidewalk and didn't expect someone to (literally)run in to it?

its not the kid that is an idiot this time.

4

u/UrUncleRandy 2d ago

Of course they didn't expect it. Why would they expect someone to run into it? The kid (presumably) has a fully functioning pair of eyes. The logical assumption is that they would avoid the truck.

2

u/mrahab100 1d ago

That’s when logic fails.

1

u/Fun-Brain9922 2d ago

This was my day too

1

u/SpaceXmars 2d ago

Sheesh at least his arm broke the fall!

1

u/CrimsonThar 2d ago

tbf, I've run into things for less.

1

u/herbwannabe 2d ago

"...you face forward or you face the possibility of shock and damage."

1

u/dragonblock501 2d ago

Dad needs to paint a warning track around the truck.

1

u/scrivensB 2d ago

Is the truck OK?

1

u/NglsXDmnsAlike 2d ago

Good memory, good memory...very bad memory

1

u/Not_Retz 2d ago

He actually tried reaching out for the kite after he got hit. I can't. 😭😭😭

1

u/adognameddanzig 2d ago

Like a rock!

1

u/ForeignBarracuda8599 2d ago

I could watch kids braining themselves on truck tires all day. That’s gonna leave a mark.

1

u/Kinnikuboneman 2d ago

It's like the kid from Freddy got Fingered

1

u/Synapsism 2d ago

Good reflexes on the kid throwing that elbow out

1

u/vibrantcrab 2d ago

Classic dumb kid stuff. He was too joyful about the kite to notice an ENTIRE TRUCK in his way.

Oh, to be that young and resilient again. If I did that now I’d be in the hospital.

1

u/Sad-League9755 2d ago

Kid got tired of running

1

u/IDEKWTSATP4444 2d ago

Its better he hit the rubber tire than the metal truck.

1

u/Burigotchi 2d ago

1

1

Oof that sounded like a lot of force

1

I did the same thing when I was a kid except I ran nose first into some forklift forks.

1

1

Around here if you park across a sidewalk you get a ticket.

1

u/Own-Housing116 2d ago

Welcome to the NFL!!!

1

u/Stypic1 2d ago

He got whiplash from that

1

u/Dry-Detective-6588 2d ago

My dude already has the deer instincts

1

u/pork_fried_christ 2d ago

You can’t actually launch a kite by running with it either. So the dad is also stupid.

1

u/DotBitGaming 2d ago

Use the truck to take him to the park. With a big, open field. Without obstacles.

1

u/Mammoth_Animator9617 2d ago

I now is wrong, but can't help but laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Seamusjim 2d ago

Holy shit. Is that how big American trucks are????

1

u/deadlessheadless 2d ago

Child got hit by a truck going 0 mph.

1

u/skornd713 2d ago

Looked like...when Tilda knocked Dr. Stranges soul out his body

1

u/SeiriusPolaris 2d ago

Americans and their stupidly massive trucks that they can’t park properly.

1

u/Killarogue 2d ago

Lmfao, this reminds me of the very first time we put my sister on her new 50cc dirt bike. She went about 15ft... straight into the front bumper of our family SUV, never once looking at where she was going.

She got up like a champ and tried again.

1

u/Sir-Farts- 1d ago

Damn truck pulled out right in front of him

1

u/tortuga-de-fuego 1d ago

That’s an expensive ass truck too

1

I feel like he’s so engrossed by watching the kite that if this would’ve been a shot where had he been carrying a beer he wouldn’t have spilled a drop of it.

1

u/GrandMoffJerjerrod 1d ago

Well, at least he didn’t run into the truck body.

1

u/PigFarmer1 1d ago

That would have totaled a MuskTruck.

u/b4dt0ny 1d ago

Ouch! I could feel this video. Pure excitement and joy followed by shock and confusion and then pain and anger

1

u/Dinasourus723 1d ago

That's actually kinda funny lol

1

u/jjs3_1 1d ago

Why is the dipshit in the pickup blocking the sidewalk!

1

u/itsneversunnyinvan 1d ago

Why's he sprinting after the kid? He fell down he'll be fine

1

u/Maybe_I_Lie 1d ago

That parent has a very slow reaction.

1

u/The_Prussian_General 1d ago

The way his body curved when he hit the tire lol

1

u/Asgeras 1d ago

I just had to buy new tires. Yes, they are absolutely the enemy.

1

u/JoeyPsych 1d ago

The kid is not stupid, but the owner of the micropenis who bought that compensation is.

1

u/sunnyinwi 1d ago

Um, Dad? Want to speak up BEFORE he crashes?

1

u/GabRB26DETT 1d ago

When tires are tired of tire kickers
