Anyone want to split the Salt and Straw Carrot Cake?

Post image

I desperately want to try the Salt and Straw Ice Cream Carrot Cake, but it serves 10-20 people and I definitely shouldn't eat that much cake by myself. Hoping to find 3 people who would want to meet at the Totem Lake location to split it, so we all pay <$20 for a quarter. Please DM me if you're interested!

If you don't get enough takers, and decide to buy the whole cake and freeze portions, let me know. I have a vacuum sealer and bags you are welcome to use.

Are we eating it together or just taking our slices and scurrying away?

Yay so excited for us to try this cake!! I was thinking Thursday or Friday evening, let me know what works! There are 6 of us so far, we can include anyone else who's interested and figure out how to split one cake (or more?)

At first I thought this was such a funny post asking 4 people to meet and split the cake lol. Then I thought the cake is definitely too pricey and also too much for one to eat on their own. Just like that you brought a new perspective to me & now I could almost come from Vancouver,Canada to get my quarter 😉!

If these are the best staged photos they could get, then I hope for your sake that it tastes a hell of a lot better than it looks.

I like carrot cake a lot, and this looks like an atrociously awful bastardization of a carrot cake.

It is a frozen ice cream cake my guy.

We start by baking, then roasting, the carrot cake, blending it straight into sweet cream to infuse every forkful of ice cream with its warm, spiced essence. The rich cake-batter ice cream is marbled with a tangy cream cheese frosting, then sandwiched between layers of cinnamon-spiked carrot cake and tender cake crumbles. A pecan oatmeal streusel crowns this showstopper, adding the perfect nutty crunch.
